After effects films

Films we learnt how to make in after effects.
In this lesson i learnt how to start a composition and arrange layers on it. This animation is simple, as it is only made of 3 layers, dancers (foreground), background, and a text layer. I learnt how to create compositions and insert layers into them, i also learnt about how to use 'nesting'. I added a radical blur effect to the dancers and after adding this effect I chose zoom from the type menu and then in the composition panel moved the center point of the blue lower by selecting and dragging the 'cross hair' to the center. Then to make this layer brighter I added the 'exposure' effect, and dragged it into color correction,

To create this I first imported the image dragged it onto a composition, made the clip 3 seconds, and made the image 'fit to comp' so it was the right size. I then imported the logo, dragged it into the timeline, I used the 'Horizontal Type tool' typed 'TRAVEL EUROPE' I changed the font size to 24, clicked the eyedropper and selected the rotated 'destinations' text on the logo to select the green colour. I then applied a drop shadow to the logo. The next step was applying the animation,  I went to the effects and presets panel select texts and then blur, I then dragged the bullet train animation onto the travel Europe layer in the timeline panel. I used pre compositions to sync the layers together.

This animation is made up of shape layers, to create the shapes you select the rectangle tool. Cover the composition with the rectangle tool. I then applied the gradient tool to give the light at the bottom affect. I then selected the polygon shape and altered the shape by adjusting the outer roundness. I then selected twist and changed the angle to 160 and repeated the shape and adjusted the scale so the shapes went across the screen, then blended the shapes into the background. I then used the star tool and duplicated the shape. I then added the DJ.mov as the front layer and added the cartoon effect.
