Corporate Promo Evaluation

Evalution- Coorporate Promo- Leigh tutoring
My brief was to create a corporate video to promote a small tutoring business called 'Leigh Tutoring'. My contact was Keely Kingswell, owner of Leigh tutoring. Keely made it clear she wanted the video to show that her tutoring business was a safe, secure, happy environment for pupils to be in. I therefore wanted to keep the tone of the promo upbeat, whilst getting across all the important information concerning the business. I think by jumping between the interview with Keely and interviews with pupils does this. On top of the interviews I used footage throughout of the children in the class; laughing, being serious whilst working, and vocalising their ideas.
Me and my client were constantly in contact throughout the process, using various means of communication. Meetings, emails, phone calls ect. There was no confusion on the dates and time meetings would be held, and we pre-arranged dates which were best suited for filming. The only constraint with filming was seeking permission to film the children in their working environment. But once I had it, I was free to collect all the footage I needed to create the video. I had various interviews with the kids and chose to select the few which were most confident with their answers. I collected more interviews than I needed to make sure in the editing process I would have plenty of material to work with.
I was very happy with the answers I got from the children during their interviews, as it could be cut in well with the points Keely was making. For example one of the kids talked about how he loved taking out books from tutoring, which was something Keely covered in her interview.

I would want to improve on the setup of the interview room with Keely, as I think it could have looked a lot better and more professional. This became more apparent in the editing process with it compared to the setup of the kids interviews.
